Event description

Description

As part of a research study and community building project, the Kathryn W. Davis Foundation and Agnes Scott Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative are planning a series of anti-human trafficking educational workshops for medical professionals and service providers in different areas throughout Georgia. Studies have shown that approximately 87% of human trafficking victims have access to medical care during their exploitation.

This workshop will provide information on recognizing and reporting different forms of human trafficking and information on implementing a human trafficking screening tool within different environments. Please reach out to Tatiana Nigh for more information on the workshop.

Ensuring that community service providers are informed on recognizing and reporting human trafficking can help ensure victim safety and prevent the growth of trafficking throughout Georgia.
