Event description
DeKalb County Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson & Africa’s Children’s Fund Presents a Film Directed by ADISA "SKIN IN THE GAME"

About this Event

Join DeKalb County Commissioner Lorraine Cochran-Johnson & Africa’s Children’s Fund and several organizations and friend to a special movie screening of SKIN IN THE GAME, a human trafficking movie created and directed by ADISA.

Based on true events, Director Adisa’s dramatic production of SKIN IN THE GAME takes the audience on an intense journey through the horrific underground world of human trafficking as the main character (Erica Ash) is forced into a life that she didn’t choose.

SKIN IN THE GAME discusses why and how girls end up in sex trafficking. It is important to note that men are also victims of the industry; however, the film focuses on women. The screenplay is surprising and precise. “It is our good fortune to be working with Director Adisa. We are hopeful that the public will appreciate the educational value of the movie,” says Founder & CEO of Africa’s Children’s Fund Victor Mbaba.
