Event description
Each year, the number of confirmed human trafficking cases in our community increases. Learn how YOU can help stop the cycle.

About this event

This free training focuses on the risk factors and warning signs of human trafficking, as well as how to report it. This presentation is ideal for anyone who works with youth/children, and will help participants learn how to identify a child in need.

The training will be hosted by Children's Advocacy Center - Hope House’s Child Trafficking Specialist, Heather Denenea, who is a part of the Louisiana Child and Youth Trafficking Collaborative, a project of the LACAC. Denenea works with a network of fellow coordinators throughout Louisiana to ensure the best outcomes for children and youth who are victims of trafficking, or who are at high risk for exploitation. Denenea also conducts trafficking awareness trainings for adults and youth.

If you have questions, please contact Heather Denenea at heather@cachopehouse.org or 985-892-3885 ext. 4.
