About this event

Friends and Colleagues,

Sadly, we had to postpone the event due to the new COVID-19 variant. We honor and place your health and safety paramount to any event. Therefore, we decided to shift the event to May 9-11, 2022 at the beautiful St. Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder Colorado. (

The SAS Forum is an invitation-only event for leaders in the burgeoning aerospace economy. It is a small group which gathers to have frank, open, and not-for-attribution discussions about the future of the spaceflight economy. No members of the media attend, the sessions are not streamed or recorded, and we respectfully request that all attendees do not post or otherwise disclose the discussions which take place on social media or otherwise.

For 2022 the topic is about the space economy; how commercial businesses can work toward profitability apart from government contracts, or more formally: Profitable Sustainable Space Flight Activities. This topic is not limited to human space flight of course.

As always, the SAS forum will feature a few excellent speakers to kick start the exchange of ideas – which is the heart of the Forum. We expect all participants to discuss and inform the gathered leaders into a more successful future.

We will start with a social gathering on the evening of Monday May 9th and a short introduction. The full day of education, interaction, and learning will take place on Tuesday May 10th followed by wrap up and conclusion the morning of Wednesday May 11th. After a closing luncheon we will facilitate those who look forward to a mountain adventure at so many of the amazing outdoor venues around the beautiful area.

We hope you will become a member of the SAS forum this coming May.
