5 Minutes, $1 Million - HultPrize@Kellogg
The Hult Prize is a start-up accelerator for budding young social entrepreneurs. The winner of the competition receives $1 million in seed funding as well as mentorship and advice from the international business community.
This Fall, Kellogg has been selected as one of ten business schools around the world to pilot a HultPrize@ competition for the Northwestern University community.
This year’s challenge asks teams to build sustainable and scalable social enterprises to address non-communicable disease in slums. Solutions are in the form of social enterprises and need not be health-based. For instance, they could address access, technology, education, policy, etc.
The HultPrize@Kellogg Case Competition will take place on December 5th. Student teams will pitch their best idea (3 minutes to pitch, and 2 minutes of Q&A) for a social enterprise to address this year's challenge. The winning team will secure a guaranteed spot in the Regional Final of their choice (Boston, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Shanghai or Sao Paulo.)
*Note: You do not have to be part of a team to compete in the pitch, but you must be in a team of at least 4 for the regional finals, if selected.
