About this event
Eugene O’Neill’s one-act masterpiece HUGHIE is set in the early hours of the morning in the summer of 1928. The play takes place in the lobby of a seedy hotel in Manhattan. A down on his luck gambler, Erie Smith and the Night Clerk, fight off loneliness and despair. This production uses the original stage directions to shine a new light on O’Neill’s world.
Evening showtimes will be Wednesday-Saturday (June 1-4 & 8-11) at 7:30PM with doors opening at 7:00PM. Matinee showtimes will be Sunday (June 5 & 12) at 3:00PM with doors opening at 2:30PM. This show runs approximately 60min with no intermission.
Full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of negative PCR test within 72 hours of the performance will be required at the door. Masks required for all audience attendees.
