Description
You are invited to attend the inaugural HUE Tech Summit - a diversity in tech event powered by the Tech Women Network. It will be the Delaware Valley's first summit designed to educate, elevate, and empower women of color technologists and founders as part of Philly Tech Week.
The theme for the 2018 summit is “No More Hidden Figures” and the goal is to ensure that entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs in the region are not left behind in the ever-changing tech world.
Keynote Speakers
Valeisha Butterfield-Jones, Global Head of Women and Black Community Engagement at Google and Co-Founder and CEO, Google and WEEN (Women's Entertainment Empowerment Network)
A well-rounded business leader, Mrs. Butterfield-Jones has a deep passion for diversity and inclusion. The evidence is in her portfolio of work, spanning two decades of driving social responsibility campaigns and community engagement programs for corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Sandra K. Johnson, Founder and CEO, SKJ Visioneering LLC
Dr. Johnson is one of the first African American women in the nation to receive her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. She is currently working on a fintech app and blockchain technology for Sub-Saharan Africa. Learn more about her work here.
