HUB LA WORKBENCH presents
A "First Time Entrepreneur" workshop with attorney Matt Crowley, start-up specialist, for Hub LA members! Get information and advice for legal issues surrounding starting or maintaining your early-stage business or venture.
The HubLA is extremely pleased to announce its brand new First Time Entrepreneur Workshop for social innovation companies. The program is not open to service providers. We encourage you to apply today for one of the 25 slots open in our workshop. Hub LA members will receive first preference, but membership is not necessary to be accepted.
During our 4-hour program, you will learn how to:
- Determine the value of your company
- Put together a capitalization table
- Understand how investors screen prospects
- Understand the differences between trademarks, copyrights, and patents
- Network at startup events - the right way

Matt Crowley is a venture lawyer, with a practice focused on assisting Los Angeles entrepreneurs in creating new businesses and achieving their goals for growth.
