Whether you’re a whiskey buff or a novice wanting to try your tongue at this centuries-old spirit, an educational series of ticketed seminars will take place at the Houston City Place Marriott. Offerings include Whiskey 101 with Rebecca Creek (45 min) at 11 a.m., A Perfect Pour: Whiskey Cocktails Park 1 – Light and Refreshing (75 min) 1 p.m. and A Perfect Pour: Whiskey Cocktails Part II – Stirred and Boozy (75 min) 3 p.m. The cocktail classes are being led by acclaimed mixologist Patrick Abolos of Not Too Sweet Concepts.
