Historic Petersburg Foundation's Dependency Tour & Fall Fest will be on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 1 - 5 p.m. Come visit five dependencies that have been lovingly restored. Learn the history of these structures, listen to music by the Haversacks & Hardtack String Band, watch artisan demonstrations and pick your fall pumpkin. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on tour day.

This tour features: the Farmer's Bank 19 Bollingbrook Street, the Benjamin Watkins Leigh House - 244 High Street, the Charles Leonard House 280 High Street, Dodson's Tavern guest house and original summer kitchen - 311 High Street, the barn at the Strachan-Harrison House - 501 High Street and High Street Park at the intersection of North Market and High Street.

Artisans & Vendors include: Gordon Kendrick - woodworker and basket weaving, Sarah Witiak - weaver, John Bottoms - a blacksmith, Nona Wartella - midwife/herbs, Rod Givens and Ignatius Creegan - haberdashers, Bill Hartsock - real estate, Carla and Stan - beekeepers, honey and skin products, Iris Schwartz playing a soprano recorder, Susan Buyalos with fall decorations, pumpkins and mums and re-enactors Bruce Donald and Michelle Murrills and Eddie Woodmancey - display of artifacts.

Tickets will also be sold at several locations in Petersburg.
