Event description
4thU Artivists present "How We Love/F*ck", celebrating the power of female sexuality and the joy it can bring...in a church!!

About this Event

This is about more than putting up a play, it's about celebrating the power of female sexuality and the joy it can bring. It's personal, vulnerable and powerful pieces woven together and fit perfectly, as women's stories so often do.The 4thU Artivists' Spring benefit production will be How We Love/F*ck, a new play from powerhouse actor/writer Lillian Isabella -- it's a sex-positive theater piece in response to the #MeToo movement which celebrates female sexuality and how fun sex can be, based on interviews she had with 28 fabulous women (à la The Vagina Monologues!)

How would you describe your first orgasm?

What makes a great lover?

How would you describe a woman as the subject of desire?

She asked the women these and many more questions, recorded the interviews, transcribed them by hand and wove them into a series of interconnected monologues.

Through candid monologues created from the interviews, Lillian begins to discover her own sexual agency, the healing power of ecstatic experience, and the importance of sharing this new understanding with the world. This play has been adapted for the unlimited voices on the Artivist stage!

Come see a titillating show about female sexuality and support our mission to end violence against women and girls!

Tickets are $28/general admission online ($30 at the door)
