About the Speakers: Michael Fish and Brandon Henson

Michael Fish is a research attorney at the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division One. Before working at the court, he was in private practice for about 30 years, where he briefed and argued over 100 civil appeals and writs. In private practice, Mike was a member of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers and named to Best Lawyers in America.

Brandon Henson is assistant clerk/executive officer of the Court of Appeal in San Diego. He has been with the court for over 20 years and served in various roles in the clerk’s office. He was the project manager for the court’s electronic filing rollout in 2016.
