How to Write a Profile (in Spanish), with Julio Villanueva Chang

This is a workshop in Spanish on how to write a compelling profile of a person. Julio Villanueva Chang, founder and editor of the legendary Peruvian magazine Etiqueta Negra, will teach best practices on how to produce and write long form features about people. The workshop will include group readings, discussion and practical advice on how to avoid common mistakes. The instructor will share his experience editing profiles for Etiqueta Negra magazine and from his own writing of profiles on Gabriel García Márquez, Ferran Adrià, Gustavo Dudamel, David Byrne, Julio Bocca, Oscar Niemeyer and Gilles Clément.
