Event description

Description

The aim of this workshop is to inspire and motivate you to take your use of LinkedIn to the next level, by sharing knowledge, experiences and examples of best practice.

The session will be led by Nigel Cliffe - a recognised industry professional - and you will work with a small group of like-minded people to really focus on your social strategy and day-to-day use of LinkedIn.

In advance of the session we will review your profile to tailor the advice given, allowing you to leave with no excuse not to have a professional profile! We take you on a journey – from improving your profile to using LinkedIn for insight gathering and lead generation.

We encourage attendee participation throughout and there will be plenty of opportunities to ask your individual questions. We want you to leave with ‘Why to…’ as well as a dose of ‘What to…’ do on LinkedIn! You are welcome to bring along your laptops for this session, although this is NOT essential.

If you want to present a credible personal profile, get found online, receive more inbound leads, warm sales calls and more business opportunities, this session is for you. By the end of the event you will understand:

  • The importance of business networking and the benefits of LinkedIn
  • LinkedIn etiquette and best practice
  • How to build a great profile
  • How to make connections and manage invitations
  • How to use LinkedIn for competitor monitoring and intelligence gathering
  • How to use Advanced Search to identify decision makers and influencers
  • How to publish content through LinkedIn
  • How to demonstrate thought leadership
