How to Turn Tough Times into Narrative
Event Information
About this Event
But learning to look at life’s tough times as part of a larger narrative can facilitate the healing process and make one feel less alone. This webinar will introduce you to basic storytelling principles to help you begin seeing your tough times as turning points. As you step back from your challenges, you may find that storytelling helps you see people and events in a different light.
The webinar will be led by Gail Thomas, a storyteller and storytelling coach who has turned her own tough times into stories. Between cancer, car crashes, relationship breakups, and more Gail has learned to find the humor and humanity in otherwise scary times. She’ll explain how to use narrative structure and sensorial detail to explore the depth and humor of everyday and not so everyday experiences.
