Tomislav Perko (31), a travel writer from Croatia, is coming back to Cologne, after selling out two travel lectures in April/May 2016!
He will hold a brand new lecture (check out his last years’ lecture HERE) on which he will tell his untold travel stories, explain how he managed to travel the world with almost no money, and how he turned his passion for traveling into a career. Also, he will bring his new book with him – 1000 Days of Summer.
About Tom: After a career of a stockbroker, broke because of the financial crisis, he hits the road and turns it into his home. He uses alternative ways of traveling – hitchhiking, couchsurfing, working/volunteering, and manages to wander around the world with just a little bit of money in his pocket, meeting the most amazing people on the way.
Seven years later, he self-published two books, gave one of the most popular TEDx talks of all time (which has over 2.3 million views) and goes around giving lectures about what it means to live on the road.
If you are interested how to travel the world on a budget, and how to turn your passion into a career, then you should join us for a very interesting evening on Thursday, April 20th @ 7pm at University of Cologne, Hörsaal I in the WISO building, Universitätsstraße 24.
Due to huge interest, we cannot make this lecture free since there are a lot of costs, but the video of the lecture will be available online in June/July – free of charge.
