BETTER ANGELS SKILLS TRAINING WORKSHOP

How to Talk Across the Political Divide

What: A free workshop to learn and practice skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground, and affirm the importance of the relationship. Workshop will involve role plays that give participants a chance to practice skills in a friendly and welcoming environment (including refreshments!).

Who can come? Anyone interested in having better conversations with people on the other side of the political aisle.

Where: Shepherd Park D. C, on the border between Silver Spring and the District of Columbia The street address will be sent to all registrants.

Check-in begins at 2:30 PM. Workshop begins at 3:00 PM. The event is free to all. Contributions (tax deductible) will not be rejected.

Instructors: Judi Carbone and Paula Y. Edwards, volunteer moderators for Better Angels.

Select tickets based on your primary political orientation Blue (lean progressive/liberal) or Red (lean conservative)
