How To Support A Survivor Of Sexual Assault
Mon, April 3, 2017, 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM PDT
YWCA Silicon Valley is excited to partner with As One Project!
In this presentation, we will discuss how to support a survivor of sexual assault, including an overview of what sexual assault is; what is consent; things you can say to support a survivor; practicing active listening; and additional resources.
The As One Project helps friends and family members of survivors of sexual violence move forward as one. As One hopes to create a safe space where people can learn about sexual violence, share their stories, and empower one another along their path to healing.
