Description

This session offers practical techniques to boost life's satisfaction, serenity, and success. Participants will cope more easily with overwhelming workloads, unrealistic expectations, and the daily dramas that cause stress and burnout. They will learn what they can do that's under their control to make things better, and what they can stop doing that just makes things worse.

Course Objectives:

Upon the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Gain the motivation to want to make changes
  • Grasp the personal and professional costs of making things worse than they have to be
  • Channel the energy that is wasted worrying and fretting and use it to create the circumstances they want to in their life and career
  • Identify the situations and people that drain their energy along with new strategies to more effectively deal with them
  • Enhance emotional control
  • Eliminate distractions
  • DEal with negative emotions in a healthy manner
  • Reduce the expenditure of energy ion future events and the things they can't control
  • Stop "dramatizing the deadlines"
  • Counter cognitive distortions with rational thinking
  • Increase mindfulness and lear to rest their mind periodically to enhance creativity, concentration, and productivity.
