Description

Do you dream of launching you own food or drink start-up but don't know where to start? You're not alone - the Australian start-up food and drinks scene has never been more appetising.

Join us November 8th at 6 pm where we will have four hugely inspirational and engaging guest speakers discussing how they made their dreams a reality and started their successful food and drink businesses.

Enjoy drinks and canapes in the courtyard of Orto Coffee Trading before joining our panel of inspiring entrepreneurs who will discuss:

  • What do you actually need to start your own food business?
  • How do you make sure your businesses attracts attention?
  • How do you actually get your product in front of customers in supermarkets, hotels and restaurants?

Speakers:

David Freeman, Founder/ CEO H2 Coconut Water

The idea of H2Coco was born, after a very sweaty yoga class in New York, when the instructor cracked open a full coconut for David to drink. Quickly realising that there was a gap in the Australian market for ready to drink coconut water, David decided to conduct his own research, visiting all the key coconut plantations around the world. Ten years later H2coco boasts several products which are sold in 13 countries.

Vicki Ngyuen, Director of Jomeis Fine Foods.

Earlier this year Vicki launched her now famous Nutritional Lattes which have gathered momentum beyond her and anyones expectations. In a very short time Vicki has not only established her brand into over 1000 cafes and retail stores across Australia but has also commenced exporting to 6 countries. Vicki also teaches yoga and truly flys the flag for all female entrepreneurs having also raised two children.

Danielle Fenner Smith, Founder/ Director Full Filled

In 2016 David launched DJB Consulting Group to help food entrepenuers scale, he has since partnered with numerous start up entrepreneurs, small to medium sized businesses both in Australia and internationally including well known emerging brands.
