How to sleep Brilliantly

Life is more fun when we have the energy to enjoy it. And for good energy, we need good food, and good sleep. Sleep poorly, and it is hard to get up. We make bad choices – snatched coffee for breakfast, an irritable day, slump after lunch, our day a struggle punctuated by adrenaline and stress. Even a few hours of lost sleep affects our decision making, our ability to drive safely, our performance and recovery. And a prolonged lack of deep sleep damages our immune system, doubles our risk of illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s, and jeopardises our mental health.
At this event, Anna McKay, former insomniac, inventor and entrepreneur, and Reana Danielle, EFT practitioner and counsellor, will talk about sleep - what happens in our body, when we sleep, what interferes with natural processes of good sleep, and steps that we can take nutritionally and otherwise to improve the quality of our sleep. We'll experience techniques that slow down our brain, heart and breathing so that we fall asleep easily, steps to take so that we stay asleep and wake well- rested. Reana will show us how to use EFT (Emotional Freedom "tapping" technique) to sleep better by gently guide our body and brain from an active over-thinking, stressed state, to a relaxed, calm, restful sleep state. We'll have lots of time for questions.
At the end, we'll have snacks - bring potluck snacks would be very welcome - and taste of a deliciously relaxing sleep night cap, that you can make for yourself
