Event description

Description

Each year, the US Government spends billions of dollars in goods and services purchases from private firms. The SBA (Small Business Administration) works to create an environment for maximum participation by small, disadvantaged, and woman-owned businesses in federal government contract awards and large prime subcontract awards. SBA administers several programs and services that assist small businesses in meeting the requirements to receive government contracts, either as prime contractors or subcontractors. These include the 8(a) Business Development Program, SAM, HUBZone Program and SUB-Net. Find out how these programs can help your business.

PTAC of South Central Michigan is able to assist you in Federal, State, and local government registrations; where to search for who is buying what in the government; how to market to government entities; understanding FAR Federal Acquisition Regulations; PTAC has a bid match program that looks at about 4,000 government websites daily for opportunities you might be interested in bidding on; plus much more is available to our clients. This event is completely free to attend.

Parking in the back of the building is free. Come through rear door with above sign 500 E. Michigan. We are on the 2nd floor, room 200.
