About this Event

Please note: Doors open at 6:00pm. Program begins at 6:30pm.

The wall. The Muslim ban. Family separation. “Lock her up.” “Send her back.” Ukraine. Russia. Saudi Arabia. It’s easy to become jaded about the daily insanity of life under the current administration. So how do we resist the ongoing Trumpification of American politics?

In a live taping of The Intercept’s Deconstructed podcast, host Mehdi Hasan is joined by two special guests to discuss how to fight Trumpism in 2020 and beyond.

Rep. Ilhan Omar is a first-term Minnesota congresswoman, the first Somali American and one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress. She has fast become the new bête noire of the Republican right and of President Donald Trump in particular.

Michael Moore is an Academy Award-winning director and bestselling author who predicted Trump's victory. His latest film, “Fahrenheit 11/9," takes a look at the 2016 election and the crisis of American democracy.
