Event description

Description

As part of the job search process it is important to understand how to read financial reports and what they reveal about the company you want to work for. It can be the most valuable source of information when making a career decision. Information on a company’s Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement will help you make an informed decision about it’s financial health and future sustainability.

In this workshop we will review:

  • The Fundamentals of Business: Cash Flow, the heartbeat of every business

  • The 3 Financial Statements: Year-end Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.

Facilitated by Sharon Edwards, Brandywine River Consulting.

Sharon has over 30 years-experience in Leadership and Organizational Development. In 2002, Sharon founded Brandywine River Consulting, a consulting and training firm that helps companies build organizational capability through pragmatic leadership development programs and talent management systems.

This workshop is part of our series Your Career: Planning & Job Search. To learn more visit our website https://edportal.harvard.edu/
