You have a business. You are awesome. You need capital. Why is it so #2$%&*# hard?
DailyWorth founder Amanda Steinberg has been there. She has raised $4M in venture capital thus far, but it wasn't easy — her first $850K took her 9 months and 200 pitches. But — she got there.
On Monday, July 22, 2013 at 4pm, she'll tell you all about it — so that perhaps it might, God willing, be less painful for you. Not every CEO should raise capital. Amanda will explain what it means to bring in outside money (friends & family, angel or venture capital), and whether or not it's the right choice for you. She'll discuss real numbers — equity, valuation, deal structuring, revenue, expenses — so that you can gauge against your own experience and benchmark your own progress. She won't skimp on details. She will take questions.
And afterward, there will be wine.
This event will be hosted at TechStars NYC, thanks to weeSpring founder Ally Downey (who instigated this discussion on TheLi.st).
