Description

Back in the old days hardware manufacturers felt safe with the knowledge that no mere hardware hacker could attempt to recreate their inventions. From Sony to Philips to LG to Samsung, the consumer electronics industry was locked up and no one could crack the case. Until those meddling Arduino kids came along…

Now anyone can make cool hardware and, thanks to Arduino, it is easier than ever to connect your devices to the Internet and take in data from the outside world.

Arduino has created an open-source, easy-to-use hardware & software platform that has made micro-controllers and electronics accessible to a broad audience of makers.

These devices are following the trend of adding more and more networking and communication capabilities, pushing toward applications on the Internet of Things.

What will you learn?
Introduction to the Internet of Things (IOT)
Understand how Internet of Things devices interact together & with users
Understand the Arduino Platform (an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software) and the ESP8266 (a Wi-Fi Chip)
Hands on experience: Turning on an LED in an Arduino and an ESP8266

**Early Bird: $20 (Limited to 10 slots)

NTUC Member: $35

Non-NTUC Member: $48
