When done right and done well, events are great for fundraising and friendraising as well as deepening relationships with your existing donors. They are also a great strategy for engaging new and existing board members in your fundraising efforts. Fundraising events require an investment of time and financial resources, so their success depends greatly on careful planning and ongoing evaluation.
Are you new to fundraising events or need a refresher on the key elements to success? Join Michelle Nusum-Smith, owner and Principal Consultant at The Word Woman LLC, in an interactive training that includes:
- The core components to successful fundraising event planning
How to engage board members and other volunteers
Managing event volunteers
Event budgets and resource development
Event evaluation strategies
Michelle will also provide tips from her experience planning fundraisers, including dinners, walk-a-thons, auctions, golf tournaments, raffles, and special events.
