Event description

Description

Biotech companies are a tough sell to investors. Typical biotech companies are many years from getting their products to market, need millions of dollars to move the ideas through research and development, need even more money for human testing, and then the data and products face scrutiny by regulatory agencies like the FDA. Technical risks, operational risks, regulatory risks and market risks are everywhere, and investors know it.

How do you get across the value of your company to investors, especially when you are just starting out? How do you convince investors that the potential up-side of the investment is huge, but remain credible? How do you build a company that can make good on what you’ve pitched?

Join us for a workshop led by Molly Schmid, Ph.D., Senior Consultant for the SBDC @ UCI-Applied Innovation.
