Event description

Description

All Network Partners are invited to this unique training and networking event to help get the most out of your Be Connected program.

  • How do I keep older Australians engaged?

  • How can I apply for a grant?

  • What does a Be Connected learner session typically look like?

Find answers to these questions and many more during this Network Partner training session led by Helen Milner, CEO of Good Things Foundation.

Helen will walk current Network Partners through the program, highlight the exclusive resources and support available to them through the network and provide direct program delivery support. This introduction workshop helps organisations get the most out of their Be Connected program.

On the day participants will be able to:

  • Meet Good Things Foundation and understand our vision

  • Understand the vital role their organisation plays in digital inclusion

  • Share best practices for engaging older Australians in learning basic internet skills

  • Learn how to create engaging digital literacy activities, lessons plans and sessions

  • Understand the grants available and how to apply for them

  • Meet and greet other Network Partners

  • Ask questions and receive immediate support

Light refreshments will be served on arrival and a brief networking session will conclude the event. Please note, tickets are limited - book early to secure your spot. Network Partners may bring multiple team members to the workshop, but every member must reserve their own General Admission ticket.
