Event description

Description

The MiA (Made in America) Project is thrilled to co-host an evening of drinks and discourse surrounding the state of affairs of the design and manufacturing community in Los Angeles, in partnership with MAKE IT IN LA. MAKE IT IN LA is Mayor Garcetti’s new region-wide initiative to connect and celebrate the nation’s largest community of makers, and The MiA Project is honored to be a part of the coalition and advisors.

Join our featured guests for a lively dialogue:

  • Micha Thomas (The MiA project)

  • Adrienne Lindgren (LA Mayor's Office)

  • Zack Hurley (IndieSource)

  • Cheyann Benedict (designer)

**If you can't make it this time but want to learn about future events, click Register and select "Keep me in the loop!"**

Why attend? This is an important opportunity aimed at designers, retail brands, and manufacturers to hear what LA Mayor Garcetti's office is prototyping for our community. This is also the time to be heard. We'll be hosting a short discussion with the featured guests above, and we invite all of you to join in. Any questions that aren't answered that evening can be passed along directly to the program's leaders, but why not join us and learn as much as you can first hand?
