GAIN and Brad Traverse Jobs are excited to announce a new event series with one mission: to help you find the right job in DC. “How to Make it in DC: Navigating the DC Job Market” series will offer panels, workshops, and webinars to help you traverse the complicated landscape that is the DC government affairs job market. Our first event, the “GR Resume Workshop”, brings together experienced professionals from all areas of the government affairs industry, Congress and the Administration, including experienced:

· Hill staffers working on policy and communications
· direct lobbyists representing trade associations, nonprofits and corporations
· grassroots advocacy experts
· communications professionals
· regulatory affairs professionals
· department and agency employees

These experienced professionals will help you craft your resume and offer tips and insights to help you find and secure a job in their respective fields. What are the keywords and skills to highlight on a resume? What are the do’s and don’ts for interviewing? What am I doing wrong on USA Jobs?
