Why do instructors dislike assigning group presentations and assignments in their classes? Why do students dread participating in group presentations and assignments? In this CELT workshop we’ll discover the research behind group work and discuss concrete examples on how to make group work more beneficial to us, and to our students.
1. Understand various ways to effectively assign group work.
2. Recognize the different ways group work is graded and determine the most effective grading strategies.
