Hey founders...it's time to think business! This complimentary event will help you provide concrete tips from insiders within San Francisco's startup scene. We will discuss key tips to scale the growth of your startup and raise funds, including topics such as:

  • Choosing the right legal entity to set up your startup for investment;

  • Intellectual property concerns (i.e., confidential information, trademarks, patents);

  • Considerations when hiring early stage employees/independent contractors;

  • Strategies for raising a seed v. angel v. series round;

  • Business valuation, specifically pre-money and post-money valuation; and

  • Understanding dilution

Our panelists have collectively supported hundreds of early- and growth-stage entrepreneurs in San Francisco and across the country. There will be complimentary drinks and pizza for attendees.
