How to Influence Site Location Decisions

in a Talent Shortage

Presenter: Rajeev Thakur, Managing Director, Consulting, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank

Moderator: Dusty Duistermars, Strategic Account Executive, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank

Host: Jami Gibson of Whittaker Associates, Inc. in collaboration with the Pro Learning Lab

The quest for talent is driving location decisions. We so often hear about the skill gap and labor issues regardless of where our clients are located around the world. If this talent shortage is a universal obstacle to business and community growth, what can you and your organization do to turn this challenge into an opportunity?

Join the Pro Learning Lab for a 90-minute interactive webinar on Thursday, September 24 at 2:00pm ET to hear case studies and lessons learned from Rajeev Thakur, an international business location and corporate real estate site location consultant. As a labor analyst, he will discuss how communities are successfully addressing the issue.

You will learn:

  • How to understand and present a nuanced view of your community’s workforce to ensure your client’s and your region’s success.
  • How your community could present a “total package” to prospects, including new opportunities not previously considered and a joint leadership effort that lowers risk perception.
  • How corporations make location decisions to improve efficiency and lower cost.
