Resilience allows us to face a traumatic or stressful event, overcome it, and emerge stronger to move forward. It is a capacity that is primarily built within the family, through bonding and emotional support.
Summer, by offering us more time together as a family, becomes the ideal opportunity to strengthen that resilience. However, as mothers and fathers, we feel dizzy when we imagine so many free hours without a plan.
Faced with this uncertainty, we need practical tools to guide us.
In this discussion, Susana Fernández, an expert in child and youth resilience, will guide us in transforming that feeling into a unique opportunity.
Together, we will explore how to turn an afternoon at the pool, a family dinner, or a walk in the mountains into true emotional and intellectual workouts that strengthen our sons and daughters' ability to adapt.
Can a simple summer project help them become more resilient? Come find out and take home concrete tools and strategies to design a summer full of learning and inner strength.
