How to Get Your Class Approved as a CEU with the IDCEC

Are you a manufacturer's rep, showroom, interior designer or professional speaker?

Do you want to offer a class that is approved as a CEU (continuing education unit) class with the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC)? Or maybe you want to teach a CEU but don't know how to become an approved speaker?

We will explain the entire process!

  • What topics are appropriate to become CEUs
  • How to register with the IDCEC
  • How to submit your class for approval
  • How to get yourself approved to teach yours or any CEU
  • Best practices for teaching CEUs/hosting CEU events

Many companies require their representatives and employees to perform educational outreach to clients, industry partners and other professionals. Most organizations such as the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Design Association (IIDA), National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) require their members to obtain a minimum number of CEUs every year. Add value to your offerings by being one of the in-demand CEU presenters or by writing an approved CEU that will gain credibility and expertise for your company!
