Event description

Does the college admission process make you feel overwhelmed? Do you keep hearing how it keeps getting “harder and harder” to get into college? Do you worry that you are behind or don’t know where to begin?

The How to Get Your Child Into College Workshop is an incredible half-day where you will learn everything you need to know to successfully navigate the college admissions process.

Come get all your questions answered and learn specific, little-known strategies that will save you weeks of time and frustration and will result in your child getting into more colleges that best match his or her interests.

This workshop is not like any ol' lecture.

Not only will Danny give you the exact resources, strategies, and timelines he has used to help thousands of families find colleges where students really can thrive, but he will take you behind the admission curtain to show you exactly how to take your child's authentic interests to make him or her stand out.

With lots of stories, terrible jokes, and real world examples, Danny will both educate and inspire so that parents (and students) walk out feeling confident and excited about applying to college!

Does your son not quite live up to his potential? Does your daughter suffer from anxiety from all the demands of sports, arts, music, homework, etc? Come learn proven techniques to motivate your child and help him or her start getting better grades with less stress.

There are over 3500 colleges in the U.S. How the heck is your child supposed to come up with a list? Come learn a step-by-step system for discovering best-fit colleges and exact methods for finding unknown programs that will help a student stand out in essays & interviews.

High school is supposed to be fun. But for many students, it’s a stressful push to load their lives with as much as possible to look “good” on college applications. Come learn how to find and build authentic activities that truly show who your child is and how he or she is unique.

High school parents often get a lot of misinformation about the SAT and ACT in terms of how to best prepare and when to start. Come learn how to decrease pressure and anxiety for your child that can result in higher scores and more college acceptances.

The admissions essays can make the difference in getting accepted. Danny will demystify the most stressful part of the application process and show exactly how your child can write essays that showcase his or her interests, personality, and individual story.

With the costs of going to college continually increasing, how are parents supposed to pay for it all? Come learn how to get the most financial aid and/or how to find the best loans and scholarships. Also discover how to target colleges that offer merit scholarships!

"Honestly, I wish Danny could just move into my house! He is so relatable and funny. I appreciate that he approaches admissions from a balanced point of view. His strategies about how to be authentic and tell unique stories really resonated with my daughter and me."
--Tracy Saltzman, Supermom

"Danny gets what teens are going through and is good at explaining things in ways that make sense. He made me feel a lot less stressed about the process, especially after I got a plan. Danny made my mom and I feel calmer, which made things easier for both of us."
--Imani, student

"I barely know my high school counselor, so Danny made me feel a lot more confident. I am glad my mom brought me to see Danny because he taught me so many things I never would have known if I had just tried to do it on my own. Now I feel much more prepared."
--Shawn, student
