Autodesk Revit software is unique in allowing design work to be divided up locally, thus enabling multiple participants to collaborate on a single building project simultaneously. However, for true real-time collaboration with your consultants, a suitable project hosting environment is needed. This course will demonstrate how to activate Revit worksharing collaboration and utilize tools that support multi-party collaboration.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1 – Understand difference between Public Cloud as compared to
Private Cloud and BIM Project Cloud.
2 – Learn how Revit Worksharing collaboration is enabled and what tools support the collaborative environment. *(built-in Revit sync vs 3rd party sync)
3 – Learn how multiple firms collaborate centrally on the same Project in real-time in a secure shared area.
4 – Develop a clear understanding of what Revit Server is and how it functions, along with newer Autodesk A360 Collaboration for Revit, to give context to Private Cloud and BIM Project Cloud.
GoToMeeting information will be sent upon registering for the course.
