JB Dobbin is the founder of Demanu, a product design and contract manufacturing business based in Ballymena. With over 10 years experience in the product design and industrial manufacturing sector, JB founded demanu in 2023 to provide Lean Product Development Services and has grown the business into a microfactory for prototyping innovations and small batch manufacturing of their customers products once tested.

This session will also host a brief discussion on the pilot innovation lab in Ballymena, as part of the future i4C Innovation and CleanTech Centre build, led by Steven Hunter, Senior Preform Engineer and Operations Manager at AMIC Sustainable Composites. He brings 12 years of experience in designing and managing various innovation centres, and you will have the chance to hear how the lab can benefit your business and you will have the chance to inform the types of technologies you would like to gain access to in the lab.
