Event description

Description

The rise of bots is here, and I'm sure you've been hearing a lot of buzz about chatbots, voicebots, and AR/VR in the tech industry today. If you have chatted with an automated telephonic system, a chat using Siri, Cortana, Amazon Echo, or a Google Home, you have interacted with a bot before. While these are great starts to bots, this is an opportunity for you to learn how to make YOUR OWN digital assistant and get ahead of the curve!

Get a glimpse into the mind of an industry leader and learn:

  • how to design a dialog for your specific users
  • the three basic components of Watson Conversation: intents, entities, and dialog
  • how to get started in building your first bot
  • how to integrate aspects of AR/VR into your bot
  • tips and tricks for what makes for a successful bot

Join us for a delicious lunch and an introduction to bot development from Anamita Guha, a Product Manager for IBM AR/VR Labs.

Schedule:

12-1:30pm: Delicious lunch and learn about conversational design and bot development.

Requirements: Laptop. Learn about the conversational design and bot development and enjoy a great lunch at the same time!

Presenter Anamita Guha – IBM Watson Developer Labs & AR/VR Labs, Product Manager. This event is free, but please register as space is limited.
