Event Details

From the 6th April 2017, BIM will be introduced into Scottish central government (Review of Scottish Public Sector Procurement in Construction, 22 October 2013) with a view to encouraging adoption across the public sector. The objective is that where appropriate (Scottish Procurement Policy Note SPPN 01/2017, 8 March 2017), projects across the Scottish public sector adopt BIM level 2. As well as the Scottish central government requiring BIM, most private clients are also now demanding BIM. So, what is BIM Level 2? How do we feed into the Asset Management Process & deliver the data requirements specified in the EIR & COBie Responsibility Matrix? This seminar will help to answer these questions for you.

Aim:

Our aim is to guide you on how best to approach COBie and gain an understanding of Ifc & Classification and their role in delivering structured data to feed into the overall COBie deliverable. We will highlight all the necessary steps on how to set up your model with the aid of both the Autodesk Classification Manager and the Autodesk COBie Extension in order to export COBie via Ifc & the Autodesk COBie Extension.

Special Discounts & Prize Draw:

By attending this course you will be eligible to receive a 25% discount on Digital Guerrilla's "COBie Set up for Revit" which contains all the mapping files for Revit you will need aswell as a 70+ page guidance document (Valid up to 8th May 2018 ONLY). Full details can be found here (T&C's apply, optional maintenance contract available at an additional cost).

Each delegate will also be entered into a prize draw to win 1 copy of Delivering COBie using Autodesk Revit - the winner will be announced at the end of the day.
