This in depth, hands-on learning experience is designed for those who wish to explore the captivating story behind the art of making charcuterie!

Your host, Jonathan Kurzen, Sous Chef and head butcher for Husk Restaurant in Greenville will take you on a journey through the process of making charcuterie from start to finish.

Limited to 20 guests, this experience will include:

  • The history of charcuterie.
  • How to break down a hog.
  • The correct methods of preservation.
  • An overview of the right equipment and tools.
  • A fresh sausages demonstration.
  • How to make charcuterie at home.

As an added bonus, Husk Greenville will be bringing a variety of snacks for you to enjoy throughout the evening!

Each participant will receive a take home package of the hosts' outline, recipes and ingredients to make charcuterie at home. Your package will include:

  • 1# ground breakfast sausage
  • 1# andouille sausage
  • 3# ham with brine packet
  • 1# mixed charcuterie prepared by Husk
  • 1 pack of BBQ rub for ribs.

Grab your sweetheart, a group of friends, or come by yourself! It's going to be a memorable experience!

* You may want to bring a small cooler to store your take home meat.

About Providence Farm:

Your food has a story! All meat will be provided by Providence Farm. Providence Farm raises happy, pastured heritage breed (Red Wattle and Tamworth cross) hogs. Forage fed cattle and pastured chickens for eggs. They are working in collaboration with Walker Century Farms, together preserving a rich heritage by stewarding resources efficiently and raising animals responsibly. Know your farmer, love your food!
