Description

After the last Mini-Social Service Summit, Navigating the Benefits Cliff, attendees requested more information on how to advocate for the people that our agencies support. This Mini-Summit will focus on what it takes to be an advocate and how to go about being a champion.

*Sarah Owsley Townsend is an organizer in Kansas City with Empower Missouri. Sarah has spent much of the last two years focusing on housing policy in the Metro area and across the state. She has degrees from Avila University and The University of Kansas.
