About the speaker:
Siyi spent 3.5 years at Tesla where she was a product manager at Tesla focusing on energy software. She was the product lead for Opticaster, Tesla’s machine learning algorithms designed to maximize economic benefits and sustainability objectives for distributed energy resources. Siyi is passionate about making affordable, reliable renewable energy and EV charging infrastructure accessible anytime anywhere. At Tesla, She helped build AI-powered battery simulation tools used by sales teams, partners, and the supercharger network to reduce hefty electricity costs and increase renewable consumption, and launched the first virtual power plant program for Tesla B2B energy customers in New England.
She is eager to share her experience as an early-career PM in cleantech and how Tesla uses AI technology to decarbonize the power grid.
She graduated from MIT with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and holds an MS from Stanford University with a focus in renewable energy engineering. Outside work, you can find her reading, learning fingerstyle guitar, and experimenting on her first net-zero home retrofit.
