How to build a personal brand to further your career?
Competition for positions on boards and for senior roles is fierce, so how do you differentiate yourself from the pack? One way is to create an impressive and meaningful personal brand.
On the morning of the event one lucky attendee will win a place on Carr Communications course in Behavioural Economics for the Financial Services Sector, worth €750. The course for the financial services sector examines how consumers make decisions, how they think about risk and their future; inertia and switching behaviour; social proofing; procrastination and several other relevant concepts.
Carr Communications' Senior Consultant Sinéad O'Donnell will outline how you can develop and maintain your personal brand as part of your career strategy. Having a media profile is part of that process and Sinéad will look at how you pitch to the media successfully. Sinéad joined Carr Communications last year, having worked for more than 12 years as a journalist with some of the country¹s most respected and influential media organisations, including Newstalk, TV3, Today FM and The Sunday Times. As well as a Masters in Journalism from NUI Galway and a First Class Honours Degree in Media Production and Anthropology from NUI Maynooth, Sinéad is an acomplished video journalist, editor and award winning PR consultant. She regularly contributes to current affairs programmes and is passionate about media relations, digital marketing and video production.
