Synopsis

Markets at halftime 2018 have seen a host of factors dragging down risk appetite. Led by political uncertainty that got markets concerned about global trade, divergent central bank policies and general risk aversion can be seen from the strengthening USD. These factors have implications for Asian equity and bond markets, and investors holding on to these markets should understand the risk factors driving market movements. Making sense of these factors can lead to more informed investment decisions, and investors can benefit from a deeper understanding of how a balanced approach to investing can better weather the ups and downs of market seasons.

Join us and find out:

  • What has contributed to recent market moves?
  • Does recent moves reflect fundamental weakness or temporary risk aversion?
  • How investors can better weather market seasons with a balanced strategy?
