Event description

Description

How can we grow and develop while protecting water? Learn from experts about nature-based solutions to water challenges facing us in the Triangle, whether upstream or downstream. See local green stormwater projects, followed by presentations about innovative approaches to water management.

WakeUP Wake County and Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association are hosting two community forums that will bring together upstream and downstream communities to tackle the many facets of water management. From stormwater runoff and flooding, to water conservation and supply, to water quality and healthy ecosystems, managing water in the Triangle region is a complex system and requires cooperation from all communities. These events will present creative solutions to restore and protect water resources in a rapidly changing region.
