Madrigals from Monteverdi's Book 7 are performed in the unique intertwining timbres of cornetto and voice, together with works for voice and continuo by Girolamo Frescobaldi and Benedetto Ferrari, and instrumental works by Bellerofonte Castaldi and Francesco Corbetta.
