Event description

Description

Joshua Goldstein, Professor Emeritus of International Relations, American University
Greg Dalton, Founder and Host, Climate One

When it comes to cutting emissions, some countries are laggards, while others are shining examples of a decarbonized economy. The new book A Bright Future details how countries such as Sweden, France, South Korea and Ontario have all taken steps to replace fossil fuels with low-carbon energy—all in the course of a few decades and without damaging their economies or transitioning to 100 percent renewable energy.

Join us for a discussion with author Joshua Goldstein about how some countries are curbing emissions to solve climate change, and how others might follow.
