Social media, video gaming, and online gambling are impacting youth’s behaviors and mental health. After this session you will be able to:

  • List five ways the use of electronic screens and the internet may be affecting human health and well-being
  • Identify the roles and impact of electronic screens and the internet in their own lives
  • Explain the relationship between human needs and the use of electronic screens and the internet
  • Implement at least 2 strategies to decrease potential harms from the use of electronic screens and the internet
  • Locate at least 2 resources to educate self and others on healthier screen use

CEUs for Counselor, Social Worker, Chemical Dependency, and Prevention will submitted.
